Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Afford-A-Haul. By booking our services via www.affordahaul.net, phone, or email, you (the "Client") agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Services Provided:

Afford-A-Haul provides junk removal, hauling, and debris disposal services. We reserve the right to refuse any job for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns or the presence of hazardous materials.

Pricing:

  • Our prices and discounts are firm. Pricing varies based off the total bed space used of our 15ft. Box Trucks. The total bed space used is determined by volume. This includes the height, length, and width of our trucks. The volume of bed space used to determine whether a truck is 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and Full is at the sole decretion of Afford-A-Haul.

 

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.

  • We accept [Cash, Credit Cards, etc.].

  • Unpaid Balances: Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge or the maximum allowed by Ohio law.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • We require 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged a $75.00 cancellation fee. "No-Shows," will be charged a the minimum 1/4 Box Truck $125.00 cancellation fee.

  • Our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy is available to review at the bottom of our site. 

 

Hazardous Materials

Afford-A-Haul is not a hazardous waste carrier. We cannot haul:

  • Chemicals, solvents, or cleaners.

  • Lead-based paint, oils, or fuels.

  • Asbestos, medical waste, or radioactive materials. The Client is liable for any costs or fines incurred if hazardous materials are hidden within the load.

 

Property Damage & Liability

  • Safe Access: The Client must ensure a clear and safe path for our crew. This also includes the security of animals on the premises. Afford-A-Haul reserves the right to cancel service due to unsafe conditions. In the event the conditions are determined to be unsafe, which is at Afford-A-Haul's discretion, service will be cancelled, and they client is subject to our "No Show" policy.

  • Driveways/Walkways: We are not responsible for damage to driveways, sidewalks, or lawns caused by the weight of our trucks or equipment.

  • Standard Care: While we take every precaution, Afford-A-Haul is not liable for minor, incidental damage (e.g., wall scuffs or floor scratches) during the removal of heavy or oversized items.

 

Ownership and Disposal

Once items are loaded onto our truck, the Client relinquishes all ownership and interest in said items. Afford-A-Haul reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, or donate the items as we see fit. We cannot "look for" or return items once the truck has left the premises.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes arising from our services shall be handled in the courts of Miami County, OH.
