Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

 

At Afford-A-Haul, we value your time and ours. When you book an appointment, we reserve a specific time slot and truck space exclusively for you. Because we often turn away other customers to honor your window, we have established the following policy:

 

$75 Flat Fee: Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled arrival window will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.This fee helps cover the administrative costs, lost labor time, and fuel expenses associated with a last-minute schedule change.

 

"No-Show" Policy: If our team arrives at the service location during the scheduled window and is unable to gain access to the items or reach the client via the provided contact number, it will be considered a "No-Show. "No-Show appointments will be charged the minimum 1/4 Box Truck $125 fee.

 

Cancel or Reschedule to Avoid the Fee: Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Exceptions:

We understand that emergencies and extreme Ohio weather happen. Afford-A-Haul reserves the right to waive the cancellation fee at our sole discretion for documented emergencies. We also reserve the right to cancel service due to hazardous weather conditions that make the job unsafe for our crew. In the event Afford-A-Haul cancels service, you will receive a 100% refund.
